Believe in your conscience

Conscience is a man's compass.

How  many of you have overpowered the inner voice within you? We have this tendency to over-analyze a situation and take the wrong decision at the end. People who have achieved big in life are the one's who rule their subconscious mind. It's a proven fact that subconscious mind is powerful than the conscious mind.

Like for example before natural calamities, the animals in the surroundings sense the danger before hand and start responding to the environmental changes. We might have heard a voice from inside of us trying to stop us from doing things. But, how many of us actually stop doing it immediately? Hardly ever!

The changes in our life must come from the impossibility to live otherwise than according to the demands of our conscience not from our mental resolution to try a new form of life.
With advancement of technology, we have lost the human touch in everything. People meet others online, start dating each other online. You seem to believe in everything that the other person tells you about themselves. It depends from person to person to completely believe in what they tell. What if your date asked you for a recent picture of yours? Would you hesitate to send one? Well if you are mirror-cracking material, then you wouldn't else you'd think a thousand times before doing so. Listen to your conscience. If you would send the picture of yours to your mother, then trust me you are listening to your conscience. If not, you've to rethink on what you are doing. With all the hype about technology, your picture can be easily misused. And once you share it with someone, it can reach many people. Now, you hadn't thought about that, had you?

Personally, I try to overpower the inner voice telling myself," you think too much". I believe many of you have been there. But, its a great sense of achievement once you start understanding yourself. There are a million things you need to know about yourself. Invest some me time. It can be anything from reading a book and thinking what would you have done if you were the character; empathizing others. Start wondering how would I have reacted in such a situation. It answers many questions about the kind of person you are.

Can we stop this shame??

After the Delhi gang rape case, many such incidents have been brought into the limelight. But are the protests and  blogging or signing petitions and taking out rallies enough to stop such inhumane and barbaric acts? They're sabotaging our country's cultural wealth. The Indians are known for their cultural heritage and they are said to worship women goddesses and look at them with equal respect that is given to god!

But, what's happening everyday? Many women and young gals step out of house with the time clock ticking every second and parents who start worrying the moment their kids step out of the house. They are endlessly frightened until they see their kids are back home safe. So is India safe for women?!

India is a country where women are worshiped as goddesses. But, do men in India really respect women? Its only because a woman wears short dresses and walks down the streets at wee hours the men think that's an invitation to explore the girl? It's a matter of shame. What about the women who belong to other countries? They dress according to their culture. With all due respect to their culture and women we must not judge people by the dress they wear. And the politicians should stop making hasty comments on women. We say that India is developing! I wonder in what way are we really progressing because there are many homeless, poor, hunger-stricken, orphans who don't have anybody to look up-to. An addition to all the socioeconomic problems are the rise in crime rate with each minute. Only thing is that many don't lodge a complaint in the nearest police station and this in turn gives the criminals a lot of confidence to indulge in such activities in the future. This happens most of the times, the parents of the victim think it's shameful to report such a thing to the police and it'll affect their daughter's life. It not just affect their daughter's life but also puts many girls life at risk.

So, the protests and campaigns are enough to stop this Shame?? When are we going to wake up to the reality that is happening around us? Would you let your sister step out of the house for a night out with her girls? I bet you wont! How can we make India a better place for women to live in?

We must educate children to respect women because a woman gave birth to us and introduced us to the world. Only if we respect a women we can become a better citizen. Respect a women's privacy and don't stalk her just because she's wearing a short dress. DO NOT PRESUME THINGS ON YOUR OWN. Everyone has the right to dress according to their needs.

Touching a woman without her permission doesn't make you a hero. Try and understand that. How would you feel if your sister was walking down the street and a gang of rouges passed an ugly comment on her or even worse they abused her physically. Would you take all that and keep mum?

We don't need Indian army soldiers to fight with us in this war of seeking justice. We just want the real life men to join hands and seek justice. We must get together and voice our opinion and make India a better and safer place for women to live in.

Prove the patriotism in you. RESPECT WOMEN!!

JAI HIND!! VANDE MAATRAM!!
